Focal Point: May

Just like last month's photo essay, some of John W. Parker's images below are framed in winter.  May in Montana, as even the briefest glance outside your kitchen window will confirm, seems inseparable from the stuff.  Backcountry skiers this year are perky about the surplus conditions, but others won't be alone in doling out additional time in appreciation of John's warm weather shots.  We hope you'll enjoy.

While we hope that May bids adieu to a long winter, we aren't so excited to John Parker take his camera down the road.  This is the last of John's four installments for the Magpie's monthly Focal Point series, and we sincerely thank him for his outstanding work.  Viewers are especially encouraged to visit the John Parker Photography website, again and again, for the many updates to his broad body of work.  -BM
