Bozeman finally breathes summer, but summer breath in Montana often rumbles through like a tempest. Madison River floats, North Cottonwood wildflowers, Curly Lake rides, backyard barbeques and beer drinking, disadvantaged gardens, alpine fishing in the Crazies, Main Street patios, Teton climbs and Beartooth backpacks—all conspire to sunburn shoulders and fill two months with relentless fervor.
That’s why The Bozeman Magpie is proud to introduce the work of Sam Magro. While the summer blows through with haste, Sam’s shots encourage us to reflect and pause, kick back, and simply enjoy.
Sam’s ranging images stretch beyond the elemental aspects of rock, water, sun, and storm to capture the substance of people, place, and life. To see his complete portfolio, check out Sam Magro Photography. -BM
