It’s said that April is the cruelest month, but above the 49th parallel, it’s got to be August. Sure, the eighth month offers ample rays, but its serenade trills like a siren. Though we may bask now, sitting in back of every Montanan’s mind is the fact that August always leads to the next nine months of winter.
